On May 19, 2026, a student delegation from Princeton University visited Tsinghua University and participated in a Student Exchange hosted by the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS). Nearly 40 students from China and the United States engaged in in-depth discussions on the current state, future opportunities, and challenges of China-U.S. relations.

On the morning of May 11, a delegation from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, regional development in Northeast Asia, and other regional hotspot issues of mutual concern.

On May 8, 2026, the Third Strategic and Policy Research Seminar was successfully held. The seminar was jointly organized by the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University and the Center for Global Competence Development (CGCD) at Tsinghua University, with support from the Student Association for International Strategy Studies (SAISS) at Tsinghua University. The seminar aimed to help young students aspiring to careers in diplomacy, strategic planning, and international relations research broaden their global perspectives and cultivate strategic thinking. A total of 27 students from institutions including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, Central Party School of the Communist Party of China, and Beijing Foreign Studies University participated in the event.

On the morning of April 24, a delegation from the Institute for Strategic Studies of Mongolia’s National Security Council visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics including China–Mongolia bilateral relations, regional security, and think tank cooperation

On the afternoon of April 21, a delegation from the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including the international order, China–U.S. relations, and regional hotspot issues.

On April 3, a delegation from the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence (ACICE) and the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University.

On the morning of March 25, a delegation from the School of National Security of the People's Public Security University of China visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University.

On the afternoon of January 13, a delegation from the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The discussion was chaired by Xiao Qian, Deputy Director of CISS. The two sides held an in-depth exchange on key issues at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the lawful and malicious uses of AI, as well as its applications in the private sector. Both sides also explored constructive avenues for cooperation in the AI–cybersecurity nexus and agreed that there is significant potential for collaboration in areas such as policy dialogue, academic research, and normative discussions.

From January 6 to 9, 2026, a research delegation from the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University conducted field research in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. The visit aimed to gain in-depth insights into the latest developments in technological innovation and industrial advancement among Chinese enterprises, and to better understand the interaction between international relations and the technology sector from the perspective of industrial practice. Members of the delegation included Prof. Da Wei, Director of CISS; Chen Qi, Deputy Director of CISS; Yao Yunzhu, Huang Renwei, and Fang Ning, Academic Committee Members of CISS; Zhang Baijia, former Deputy Director of the Party History Research Office of the CPC Central Committee; Zheng Xiyuan and Li Chen, Special Experts of CISS; as well as members of CISS’s research and administrative teams.

On the morning of January 12, the Chinese People’s Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on current international and regional security dynamics, the development of artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity and information security issues.

On January 5, the Students of CUSEF Spring Festival Exchange Program visited Tsinghua University and participated in a China–U.S. youth exchange event hosted by the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The event was moderated by Guo Jia, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation at CISS. Nearly 30 young students from China and the United States engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including current trends in China–U.S. relations and the responsibilities and roles of youth in global governance.

On December 28, 2025, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University and the Center for Global Competence Development for Students (CGCD) jointly hosted the Sixth International Affairs Workshop.
