In December 2025, CISS Youth at the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University, organized a series of group exchange activities under the “Academic Partners” program. Centered on talent cultivation, the program encourages members of CISS Youth to form “academic partnerships” with CISS research fellows, engaging jointly in academic research and practical activities to enhance students’ research capacity and practical skills. Conducted on a group basis, the exchange activities focused on frontier topics such as international politics, technological competition, and major power relations. Through a format combining presentations, faculty guidance, and open discussion, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on academic challenges, career planning, and personal development. The activities effectively strengthened communication and mutual understanding among academic partners and yielded positive outcomes.

On November 19, 2025, a delegation from the CISS Youth program under the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University, visited the Centre on Contemporary China and the World (CCCW) at The University of Hong Kong. The two sides held a youth dialogue on the theme “Educational Experiences in a Globalized Era: Opportunities and Challenges of Overseas Study.” Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cross-cultural engagement, studying abroad, and youth responsibility. The session was moderated by Zhao Xiuyie, a PhD researcher at CISS.

From November 17 to 18, 2025, the 6th Hong Kong US-China Forum was held in Hong Kong, jointly organized by the China-US Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). The forum brought together political leaders, scholars, and business figures from multiple countries to discuss peace and development in US-China relations. Twelve CISS Youth from the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University were invited to participate, engaging in in-depth discussions with experts on artificial intelligence, US-China relations, and cultural exchange. They also successfully hosted a Youth Leaders Special Side Event, bringing together youth representatives from around the world to discuss the future of US-China relations and demonstrate the global perspective and intellectual depth of contemporary Chinese youth.
