On the morning of April 1st, a student delegation from Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) of Hungary visited Tsinghua University and Center for International Security and Strategy(CISS). They engaged in in-depth discussions with CISS faculty and student representatives on current international relations issues.

At noon on March 18, 2025, a delegation from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), led by Deputy Chief Research Analyst and Senior Chief Research Analyst Christopher Bond, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The delegation included Dan Carruthers, Head of the China and Indo-Pacific Strategic Stability Team at the FCDO’s Security Policy Department; Henna Chauhan, Senior Officer for Indo-Pacific Strategic Stability at the Security Policy Department; Isabel Ayton, First Secretary of the Science and Technology Section at the British Embassy in China; and Tom Bromly, Second Secretary of the Political Section at the British Embassy in China.

On the afternoon of February 25, Arend Wulff, Head of the Political Section at the German Embassy in China, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University, accompanied by Deputy Head Marian Gordzielik and Policy Officer Canan Gündüz. CISS Director Da Wei, Associate Research Fellow Sun Chenghao, and Assistant Research Fellow Shi Yan participated in the discussion. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange on topics including China-U.S. relations, U.S.-Europe relations, China-Germany relations, and the Ukraine crisis.

On January 9-10, Professor DA Wei, Director of the Center for Strategic and Security Studies (CISS) at Tsinghua University, traveled to Singapore to participate in the Regional Outlook Forum 2025 hosted by the Yusuf Isa Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (YSIAS), where he served as a guest speaker for the first session of the conference.From January 11-26, Da Wei served as a Senior Visiting Scholar at the Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). （From January 11 to 26, Davy was a Senior Visiting Scholar at the Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where he had extensive contacts with Singaporean strategists and academics.

On December 24, Dmytro Yefremov, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations, National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, visited CISS and had a dialogue with CISS experts Da Wei, Zhou Bo, Song Bo, and Wang Congyue; Kang Jie, Deputy Director and Associate Research Fellow at the Department for European-Central Asian Studies, China Institute of International Studies; Wang Siyu, Assistant Research Fellow at the Shanghai Institute of Global Governance and Regional Countries, Shanghai International Studies University; and Shi Jing, Assistant Research Fellow at the Center for Eurasian Studies of the Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University, on “Future of the Ukraine Crisis.”

On January 3, a student delegation from the CUSEF x Columbia SIPA Initiative visited Tsinghua University and participated in the “Tsinghua & Columbia NextGen Dialogue” organized by the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University. Nearly 80 students from China and the US gathered to discuss the responsibilities and roles that Chinese and American youth should take and can play in promoting the development of bilateral relations.

On the afternoon of November 18, 2024, Ollie Shiell, Chief Executive and Co-founding Director of the UK National Committee on China (UKNCC), and other representatives visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University. They had an in-depth discussion on China-UK relations and global hotspot topics with Da Wei, Director of CISS and Professor of the Department of International Relations, and other expert representatives.

On the afternoon of November 7th, Alexander Nikitin, Director of the Center for Euro-Atlantic Security, Professor of the Department of Political Science Theory at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), and Vice-Chairman of the Pugwash Committee of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), paid a visit to the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University. The two sides discussed two themes: "Fortifying Changes in the Russian Nuclear Doctrine" and "World Powers and International Organizations in Asia - A View from Moscow".

On October 29, a delegation from AK Party Youth visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics such as the current situation of international relations, Sino-Turkish cooperation and youth policy.

On the morning of October 25th, Glenn Schmidt, Head of Global Government Affairs of BMW Group, accompanied by Wu Yanyan, Vice President of BMW Group, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University. The two sides exchanged views on China-U.S.-European relations and international security and trade, etc. CISS Director Da Wei and CISS Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Researcher Wen Jing participated in this discussion.

On September 12, Choi Shing Kwok, Director of the Yusof Ishak Institute,ISEAS and Senior Researchers Lye Liang Fook and William Choong visited the Center for International Strategy and Security at Tsinghua University. Both sides exchanged views on think tank construction, Sino-US relations, and China-ASEAN relations.

On September 11, Jonathan Lehrer, project manager for international affairs at the Körber-Foundation, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University, where the two sides engaged in a discussion on think tank construction and humanities exchange between China and Germany. Lehrer also introduced the foundation's latest survey report, "The Berlin Pulse of Paradigms and Power Shifts," and the two sides exchanged views on mutual perceptions based on the report's content.
