On April 24, 2025, under the guidance and support of the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) and the Global Competence Development Guidance Center of Tsinghua University, the Tsinghua Student Association of International and Strategic Studies (SAISS) hosted a lecture featuring Associate Professor Wang Hongchuan from the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University. Themed “The Chinese Approach to Smart Healthcare: Medical Transformation and Breakthroughs in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” the lecture offered a comprehensive overview of the current state of AI in healthcare globally and in China, while providing an in-depth analysis of the key challenges faced by the industry. It also presented a vision of how China’s healthcare system is being transformed in the digital and intelligent era.

On April 3, 2025, the Student Association of International Strategic Studies (SAISS) at Tsinghua University hosted a special lecture titled “Strategic Choices Amid Global Transformation: The Evolution of China-Russia Relations and Lessons from the Russia-Ukraine Conflict”. The event was supported by the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University and the Global Competence Development Guidance Center for Tsinghua Students. Dr. Song Bo, Assistant Research Fellow at CISS, delivered the lecture to over 30 faculty members and students in attendance.

On March 13, 2025, the Tsinghua University Student Association for International Strategic Studies (THUSAISS), under the guidance and support of the Center for International Security and Strategy(CISS) and Center for Global Competence Development at Tsinghua University, successfully hosted a thematic lecture titled "From Yale Visiting Scholarship to Munich Security Conference Observations: Where is the China-US-Europe Relationship Heading?" The event invited Dr. Sun Chenghao, a fellow of CISS and a selected "Munich Young Leaders," to analyze the current dynamics and future trends of China-US-Europe relations from multiple perspectives. Dr. Sun drew upon his observations and reflections during his visiting scholarship at Yale Law School and his participation in the Munich Security Conference (MSC).

On December 13-14, 2024, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 2024 Year-End Situation Theory-Discussing Meeting under the theme of “Meeting Challenges, Achieving Transcendence.” More than 30 experts, including CISS Academic Committee members, experts, and fellows, were invited to the Meeting for discussion.

On December 2, 2023, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 2023 Year-End Situation Theory-Discussing Meeting. More than 30 scholars and experts, including CISS Academic Committee members, experts, and fellows, were invited to attend the Meeting.

On August 28, the Center for International Security and Strategy of Tsinghua University (CISS) and the Youth Branch of the Chinese Association for American Studies (CAAS) jointly organized the first Youth Forum on American Studies.

On the evening of August 18, CISS Youth of the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University held the annual meeting for the 2022-2023 academic year work summary & the 2023-2024 election campaign. The meeting was chaired by Wang Yexu, Secretary General of CISS Youth, and joined by Da Wei, Director of CISS, Xiao Qian, Deputy Director of CISS, Dong Ting, Sun Chenghao, and Shi Yan, Fellows of CISS, and Miao Zhengming, Wen Jing, and Nie Zhengnan, Postdoc Fellows of CISS.

From July 7 to 8, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 2023 mid-year situation theory-discussing meeting. The meeting featured a theme of “Current International Strategic Security Situation and China’s Diplomacy in the New Era” and was joined by more than 20 experts and scholars, including the CISS Academic Committee members, experts, and fellows.

On May 30, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held its 5th Management Committee meeting.

On November 4, 2022, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held its fourth plenary session for its academic committee members and fellows.
