Moderated by CF Secretary General Zhang Lirong, the event convened the Forum’s executive committee member Han Hua, all CF staff and student assistants.

​Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret.), a senior fellow at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy and China Forum expert, recently gave an interview to TIME on South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand’s attendance at the upcoming NATO summit in Madrid, and was quoted in an opinion piece by Charlie Campbell titled “Japan and South Korea’s Attendance at the Upcoming NATO Summit Could Worsen Global Tensions.”

​On June 15, Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret.), a senior fellow at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy and a China Forum expert, attended a seminar of the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) themed “Two years after Galwan, the state of China-India ties.”

​On June 13, Huang Jing, a China Forum expert and professor at Shanghai International Studies University, attended a dialogue at the Robert Bosch Academy entitled “More Than Partners? The Future of Chinese-Russian Relationship.”

Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret.), a senior fellow at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy and a China Forum expert, gave an interview to CNBC’s Street Signs Asia the next day on General Wei’s speech and his talks with the US defense secretary, which was published on CNBC.com. From 2013 to 2019, Zhou has been invited to speak at the Shangri-La Dialogue as a member and expert of the Chinese military delegation.

​On June 8, Huang Jing, China Forum expert and professor at Shanghai International Studies University, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the III Foro Internacional EXPANSIÓN in Spain, where he delivered a keynote speech titled “The Impact of Russo-Ukrainian War on US-China Relations” and answered related questions.

​The three-day Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Youth Technology and Innovation Forum kicked off on May 21. Mr. Zhang Lirong, Secretary-General of China Forum at the Center for International Security and Strategy, Tsinghua University, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the forum and the Parallel Session on People’s Health, at which he gave a keynote speech entitled “Promoting International Cooperation in Health and Innovation in the Normalization Stage of COVID-19 Prevention and Control” from the perspectives of healthcare, technology and innovation, SCO and economic globalization.

Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret.), a senior fellow at the Center for International Security and Strategy of Tsinghua University and a China Forum expert, spoke on China-US relations and Taiwan in a recent interview to CNBC’s Squawk Box Asia. An article titled “China would only use force as a ‘last resort’ for Taiwan reunification, former PLA official says,” along with the video of the interview, were published on CNBC.com on May 24.

On May 27, a virtual conference titled “Climate Change, Energy Security and Geopolitics” was held by the Ditchley Foundation, featuring China Forum experts Wang Yuanfeng, professor at Beijing Jiaotong University; Teng Fei, deputy director of the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy at Tsinghua University; Cui Hongjian, director of the Department for European Studies at the China Institute of International Studies; and Gong Jiong, vice president of the University of International Business and Economics-Israel.
