On December 29, the China Forum ofthe Center for International Security and Strategy(CISS) at 'Tsinghua University held its 2025 year-end dialogue.

From November 3-5, 2025, Professor Zhao Minghao, China Forum Expert and Deputy Director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University, attended the 17th International South China Sea Conference in Da Nang, Vietnam. The conference, themed "Standing Together in Uncertainty," was hosted by the Vietnam Academy of Foreign Affairs. Over 50 guests from more than 30 countries, including China, the United States, the Philippines, Russia, and the United Kingdom, participated and delivered speeches. Nguyen Manh Cuong, Member of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered the opening remarks. Ambassadors to Vietnam from Germany, Spain, Canada, and over 200 other attendees also participated in the conference.

On December 12, China Forum and China Review Think Tank held their fourth joint forum titled “Trump’s Return to the White House and China-US Relations in the Next Four Years.”

On December 18, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the third China-Central Asia Dialogue on Trade Governance.

On August 16, Professor Zhao Minghao, deputy director of the Center for American Studies at Fudan University and a China Forum expert, gave a lecture to a group of Brazilian business leaders visiting China at the invitation of the Brazilian Center for International Relations and the Global Legacy Program, in which he introduced the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, China’s foreign policy, the Belt and Road Initiative, and China-US relations. The participants had an in-depth exchange of views on topics such as the Global South and international order, international security challenges, and China-Brazil cooperation.

On June 21-23, Zhao Minghao, professor at the Center for American Studies of Fudan University and a China Forum expert, attended a plenary meeting of the Trilateral Commission in Brussels.

In July, China Forum expert John Gong gave an interview to China Face, explaining the takeaways and prospects in the third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which was held in Beijing in July 2024.

On June 27, the Third China Forum-China Review Think Tank Forum: A Look Back at The Ninth China-Japan-ROK Trilateral Summit and A Look Ahead to the Trilateral Relations was held in Beijing. Hosted by China Forum under Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) and the China Review Think Tank Foundation, the event looked at how China, Japan and the ROK can build trust and clear up doubts among them as the Trilateral Summit resumed after over four years and amid the increasingly complex political landscape in the region.
