On the morning of December 6, a delegation from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE University), Russia, visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides held discussions on global artificial intelligence governance, China–Russia cooperation on artificial intelligence, and collaboration between universities in AI-related research.

The HSE University delegation included Vasily Kashin, Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies; Timofei Bordachev, Professor and Research Fellow at the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies, Department of Scientific Research; and Anna Sytnik, Associate Professor.

The meeting was chaired by Xiao Qian, Deputy Director of CISS. Participants from CISS included Dong Ting, Associate Research Fellow; and postdoctoral researchers and assistant research fellows Wang Congyue and Xu Jialun.
