The meeting was attended by Da Wei, Director of CISS; Dong Ting, Associate Research Fellow; and Wen Jing, Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Research Fellow. Participants focused on the current trajectory of China-U.S. relations, stressing that both countries need to acknowledge differences in their perceptions of international order and responsibilities, gradually build consensus on principles, and safeguard existing multilateral mechanisms. Such efforts, they noted, would help the two sides jointly address global security challenges.
