The Global South Economic Forum (GSEF) is jointly organized by the Global South Geoeconomics Center, the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy of the UAE, and the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS) under the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration. The UAE Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR), the Strategic and Security Studies Center of Tsinghua University, and the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University served as co-organizers. The forum aims to explore the evolving role of the Global South amid the rapidly changing global geoeconomic and geostrategic landscape. By bringing together experts and key stakeholders with a focus on strategic cooperation, the forum is dedicated to building a more equitable and effective global economic framework that reflects the vision and potential of Global South countries.
During her visit to the UAE, Wen Jing and the delegation from the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration visited the Dubai Center for Public Policy Research and the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research. They also paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in the UAE, where they engaged in discussions with Minister Counselor Zhao Liang and Director Rao Dajun of the Political Affairs Section on the current situation in the UAE and the broader Middle East region.
