CISS experts at Innoreagen Power Technology Co., Ltd

From May 6 to 8, 2021, a team of experts from Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) conducted a field research at various enterprises in Datong, Shanxi Province. Dr. ZHANG Jifu, Ms. AI Lingyu and Mr. ZHOU Peng, respectively Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Secretary General of the Datong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, met with Professor DA Wei, Deputy Director of CISS, and other visiting experts. The two sides had an in-depth exchange on issues such as the impact of changes in the international situation on the city’s economy, the way forward for local enterprises in terms of their international development, and industrial restructuring.

The CISS expert team then visited local enterprises in Datong, including Innoreagen Power Technology Co., Ltd, CRRC Datong Co., Ltd, and Yungang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd under the Datong Coal Mine Group. The enterprise representatives presented to the experts a detailed picture of their business development, and they engaged in extensive discussions on issues such as the impact of China-US relations on business operations and ways to carry out business activities within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.
