On September 4, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University, successfully hosted an expert dialogue on major-power relations and the Ukraine crisis. Participants shared their views and exchanged perspectives on issues including the transition in the international order, the future trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the basis for China-Russia cooperation, and European strategic autonomy.

The dialogue was moderated by Song Bo, Fellow at CISS. Participants included Zachary Paikin, Deputy Director of the Better Order Project and Research Fellow in the Grand Strategy Program at the Quincy Institute; Zhou Bo, Senior Fellow at CISS; Kang Jie, Associate Research Fellow at the Institute of American Studies, China Institute of International Studies; Shi Jing, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute for International and Area Studies, Tsinghua University; Fang Yuan, Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean of the Institute of International Organizations, Jilin International Studies University; Wang Congyue, Postdoctoral Fellow at CISS; and Luo Shengjun, Communications Officer at CISS.

At noon that day, CISS also held a doctoral workshop, where six PhD students from Tsinghua University and the University of International Business and Economics engaged in academic exchanges with Mr. Zachary Paikin.
