On the morning of May 11, a delegation from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on maintaining peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula, regional development in Northeast Asia, and other regional hotspot issues of mutual concern.


Participants from the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung delegation included Moon Chung-in, Professor at Yonsei University; Paik Hak-soon, Founding President of the Kim Dae-jung Academy; John Delury, Professor at Ewha Womans University; Suh Young-sin, Director of the International Cooperation Planning Division at the Ministry of Unification; Luc van de Goor, Research Director at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute; Su Fei, Researcher at the China and Asia Security Programme of Stockholm International Peace Research Institute; Sergio Grassi, Chief Representative of the Beijing Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung; Christoph Heuser, Resident Representative of the Korea Office of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung; and Project Managers Zhou Huijing and Zhou Qizhuolan.
Chinese participants included Zhou Bo,Senior Fellow at CISS and Expert of the China Forum; Li Nan, Deputy Director of the Strategic Studies Office at the Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; CISS fellows Song Bo and Shi Yan; Director of International Exchange and Cooperation at CISS Guo Jia; and China Forum Program Officer Qian Jiatong.
