Brookings Institution Visits CISS

On May 13, a delegation from the Brookings Institution visited CISS. The delegation included Suzanne Maloney, Vice President of the Brookings Institution; Ryan Hass, Director of the John L. Thornton China Center; Ryan McElveen, Associate Director; Kenneth G. Lieberthal, Senior Fellow Emeritus; Patricia Kim, Fellow at the John L. Thornton China Center; Cheng Li, Founding Director of the Hong Kong University's Centre on Contemporary China and the World (CCCW); and Margaret M. Pearson, Distinguished Professor at the University of Maryland. They held discussions with Da Wei, Director of CISS, Xiao Qian and Chen Qi, Deputy Directors of CISS, Dong Ting, Sun Chenghao, and Shi Yan, Fellows of CISS. The two sides discussed topics related to China-US people-to-people exchanges.
