On April 24, a delegation from the Singapore-based ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Center of Excellence (ACICE) visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including global AI governance and China-ASEAN AI cooperation. The meeting was chaired by Xiao Qian, Deputy Director of CISS and Vice Dean of the Institute of International AI Governance. Participants from CISS included Xu Weidi, former researcher at the Strategic Studies Institute of the National Defense University; Zhang Ling, former associate professor at the National Security College of the National Defense University; and Sun Chenshuo, a special expert of the China Forum.
The visiting experts included Yeo Seow Peng, Executive Director of ACICE; Benjamin Ang, Senior Fellow and Head of the Center of Excellence for National Security and Digital Impact Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University; Muhammad Faizal, researcher at the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies; Daryl Chan, Staff Officer at the Singapore Ministry of Defence; and ACICE analysts Joel Chang and Edmund Li.
