Professor Michael McFaul from Stanford University Visits CISS

On April 9, Michael McFaul, Professor at Stanford University and Director at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, and his delegation visited the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University and discussed with Da Wei, Director of CISS; Li Dingxin, Research Fellow at China Center for Contemporary World Studies of the International Department, Central Committee of CPC; Liu Ying, Associate Professor at China Foreign Affairs University; Song Bo, Fellow of CISS; and some student representatives.

The two sides exchanged views on topics such as the Russia-US-China Strategic Triangle, China-Russia relations, China-US relations, international order and rules, the US election, mediation and escalation of the Ukraine conflict, and the situation on the Korean Peninsula. In addition, Professor Michael McFaul introduced his new book in preparation.
