On September 22, 2022, Sun Chenghao, CISS fellow, and Tang Xiaoyang, professor of international relations at Tsinghua University and China Forum expert, were invited to participate in the China-Europe Expert Dialogue, a virtual event convening 20 experts and scholars from 17 universities and think tanks in China and Europe.

Around the theme of “Multilateralism and Food Security Cooperation,” panelists discussed potential future areas of cooperation between China and Europe as well as solutions to the global challenge of food security. It was agreed that both sides should work together to maintain the international multilateral governance system, refine areas of food security cooperation, and foster relevant communication between each other.
