From December 8 to 11, 2019, the CISS and the Russia’s Valdai Discussion Club jointly held a seminar on “Facing the Prospects of a Disordered World: How Can China and Russia Meet Challenges”. More than 20 experts from both sides attended the symposium. They all agreed that China and Russia should strengthen communication and cooperation on key global agendas, encourage think tanks in both countries to advance both area and international studies, and studies on major international issues and enable in-depth dialogue between these think tanks.
