Huang Ying is a Predoctoral Fellow at the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS), Tsinghua University, and a PhD candidate in International Relations at the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University. Her research focuses on international security, with particularly interest in great power rivalry from a regionalist perspective and post-conflict peacebuilding. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition to English, she is proficient in French and Albanian. Dedicated to promoting dialogue and cooperation among global young leaders, Ying served as Secretary-General of the fourth cohort of CISS Youth, co-founded the “China–U.S. Youth Voices” initiative, and co-chaired the Second Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue. She was also selected as a 2024 Young Leader at the China–U.S. Hong Kong Forum. Ying has helped organizing several high-level youth programs, including the Tsinghua–Yale and Tsinghua–Georgetown dialogues, the “Generation Z Dialogue: Finding Our Common Ground” (co-hosted by CISS and USCET), as well as the Youth Leader side events at the 6th and 7th CISS International Security Forums.
