On December 2, China Forum under the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 6th Dialogue Among the Wise. Panelists discussed the opportunities and challenges of China-Russia economic cooperation amid great power competition and geopolitical conflicts, as well as the transformation of economic globalization and multilateral cooperation mechanisms at the seminar themed “Roles Of China And Russia in the New Global Economic Landscape.”

Participants believe that the current geopolitical tensions have led to significant changes in the globalization landscape, and that China and Russia should seek new directions for economic cooperation as they navigate the changing dynamics, ensure the full potential of the BRICS, the SCO and other multilateral platforms for economic cooperation, and expand their areas of investment, including infrastructure and tourism.
