On June 9-10, the webinar: The Role of Political Parties in Modernizing Governance and Public Management was jointly organized by CISS-CF and IREE, in which presidents of major political parties in Brazil and scholars from the two countries exchanged views in two sessions titled “Modernizing State Governance: Practices and Experience of Political Parties” and “Deepening the China-Brazil Comprehensive Strategic Partnership: Engagement and Role of Political Parties.”

China and Brazil are respectively the largest developing countries in the eastern and western hemispheres, sharing broad common interests and similar aspirations in many major domestic and global agendas, such as pandemic response, economic recovery, sustainable development, and international cooperation and governance. In this connection, CISS-CF and IREE are dedicated to working together, through various forms including joint seminars and articles, to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples and the China-Brazil comprehensive strategic partnership.
