International Experts discuss China-EU cooperation in the post-pandemic future

On June 25, 2020, Center for International Security and Strategy of Tsinghua University (CISS), China Forum, Academy of Contemporary China, and World Studies (ACCWS)and Ditchley Foundation of the UK co-hosted the closed-door webinar themed “China, Europe and their post-pandemic future”. Fu Ying, Chair of CISS, Chair of China Forum, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Jeremy Hunt, former Foreign Secretary of the UK attended the meeting.

Participants believed that the COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most serious challenges the world has faced since the beginning of the 21st century, which has significant impact on the world economy and international relations. They exchanged views on what experiences to share in fighting the COVID-19 and how China-UK and China-Europe shall cooperate in the future.
