On November 8, 2024, CISS Youth hosted the 14th session of the “CISS Youth Talk”, titled “Alienation – Challenges of Humanitarian Aid.”

On October 13, 2024, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University held the inaugural meeting for the 5th CISS Youth.

On October 13, 2024, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 5th CISS Youth Meetup. Twenty-five CISS Youth members from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Harvard University, Cambridge University, and other universities at home and abroad participated in this event online and offline. Da Wei, Director of CISS; Xiao Qian and Chen Qi, Deputy Directors of CISS; Dong Xiaoman, Junior Professional Officer (JPO) of UN Youth Office; Song Bo, Fellow of CISS; Wen Jing and Wang Congyue, Postdoc Fellows of CISS, attended this Meetup as guests. Zhang Yuanshinan, Secretary General of the 5th CISS Youth, moderated the Meetup.

On the evening of September 21st, the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University held its 2023-2024 work summary and 2024-2025 leadership election meeting.

On June 13th, 2024, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) held the second session of its “Face-to-Face with Experts” lecture series.

On May 23, 2024, CISS Youth held the fifth “CISS Youth: Observing the World” series session.

On April 23, CISS Youth was invited to visit Schwarzman College to hold the 2nd youth dialogue with current Schwarzman scholars. Continuing the spirit of frankness, openness, and inclusiveness of the first youth dialogue in December 2023, the two sides discussed US foreign policy and its impact on China-US relations, aiming to enhance the understanding of international relations through academic exchanges and dialogues among the young scholars, especially the perception of changes and challenges of China-US relations in the current global political and economic situation. The dialogue was moderated by Sun Chenghao, Fellow of CISS, and Andrew Bilden, Scholar from Schwarzman College.

On March 30, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University, in collaboration with the U.S.-China Education Trust (USCET), held the third plenary session of the “Gen Z Youth Dialogue: Finding Our Common Ground” series.

On March 23, the Tsinghua University Center for International Security and CISS Youth and the Tsinghua University China-US People-to-People Exchange Association jointly organized an event titled “Sino-US Exchange and Mutual Learning Behind the Railways.”

From March 10 to 15, Da Wei, Director of the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University, and Sun Chenghao, Fellow of CISS, led Li Dancheng and Guan Shiqian of CISS Youth to Washington and New York, visited US government agencies, think tanks and universities, and conducted more than 20 research and discussion sessions on topics related to the current China-US relations.

​On January 14, 2024, the CISS Youth of the Tsinghua University Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) held the second annual “American Observation Conference.”

On January 4, 2023, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) held its year-end peer exchange at the New Tsinghua Xuetang.
