Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump paid a state visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese side, attracting widespread attention from domestic and international media. Experts and scholars from the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University, including Da Wei, Zhou Bo, Sun Chenghao, Wen Jing, and China Forum experts Gong Jiong and Zhao Minghao, gave interviews to numerous major Chinese and international media outlets. They provided analysis and commentary on issues including the China-U.S. leaders’ meeting, China-U.S. economic and trade relations, and the evolving global geopolitical landscape.

On January 20, Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president of the United States. The impact of his return on China-U.S. relations has once again become the focus of global attention. DA Wei, director of the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) at Tsinghua University and vice chairman of the China Forum, was interviewed successively by Channel News Asia, South China Morning Post and The Asahi Shimbun, and the Lianhe Zaobao, on the key issues of China-U.S. relations in Trump's new term, The Associated Press and other international media.

On June 19, Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret.), senior fellow at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy and a China Forum expert, gave an interview to CNBC on US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to Beijing and China-US relations.

On March 26, the Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende (Berling’s Times) published a long interview with Da Wei, Director of the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University (CISS) and Vice Chair of China Forum. In the interview, Da Wei explained his views on China’s relations with Western powers led by the United States, the path of national development, the Ukraine crisis, etc.

CGTN held a forum titled “Global Youth Talk: Growing Together with China” in Beijing. Sun Chenghao was invited to deliver a speech in English as the opening speaker of the forum.

Which side is really changing the status quo of the Taiwan Straits? Senior Colonel Zhou Bo (ret), who is now serving as a senior fellow of the Centre for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University and China Forum expert and Douglas H. CISS senior fellow, China Forum expert Zhou Bo gave an online interview with Stan Grant, the host of China Tonight on the Australian National Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on April 25th. Zhou Bo pointed out that Morrison's statement is ridiculous, and the Australian government is in no position to draw a "red line" for the cooperation between China and Solomon Islands, two sovereign countries.
