Zhai Xiyuan, from Tianjin, is currently studying at Beijing Foreign Studies University, majoring in Italian with a research focus on international organizations and global governance. He has completed (and is still following) internships at the Peacekeeping Affairs Center of the Ministry of National Defense, the Institute of Area Studies of Beijing Foreign Studies University, and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. During these internships, he contributed to the writing of multiple policy advisory reports, global governance briefings, and commentaries on current affairs. As a member of CISS Youth, he will focus on European studies and state security research.
