Wang Yichen is from Linyi, Shandong Province. He is currently studying at the Institute of International Relations, Nanjing University, majoring in International Relations, with a research focus on regional governance and the international relations of Southeast Asia. He was elected as a member of the 5th CISS Youth and as a Fudan University Rong-Chang Scholar. He has interned at Boston Consulting Group, the Institute of Regional and Country Studies at Nanjing University, the Center for Globalization Studies at Tsinghua University, and the Institute of National Development and Strategy at Renmin University of China. Within the CISS Youth program, he plans to focus on Southeast Asian development, security cooperation mechanisms, and normative transformations in artificial intelligence.
