2020年12月28日，拜登在特拉华州演讲时，主张在贸易、技术、人权等领域联合伙伴国家和盟友一致对华。坚定维护符合其共同利益和价值观的立场，确保印太地区的安全与繁荣。

四、全球问题
2020年10月22日，拜登在大选终场辩论中表示将继续针对朝鲜部署军力和反导设施，并继续美韩军演。此举是要确保朝鲜可控，不危及美国安全。美国希望中国一道对朝施压。

2020年11月19日，拜登在与各州州长会晤后召开新冠疫情新闻发布会，拜登表示，在公共卫生、气候变化美国必须与世界其他国家联合起来，不排除使用制裁、关税等手段，但比起惩罚，主要目的是使中国明确并遵守相关的规则。
It’t not so much about punishing China. It’s about making sure China understands they got to play by the rules. It’s a simple proposition. And so that’s one of the reasons why we’re going to rejoin the World Health Organization. We’re going to rejoin on day one as well. And it needs reform, I acknowledge. And rejoin the Paris Climate Accord. And we have to make sure that the rest of the world and we get together and make sure there are certain bright lines the Chinese understand.
