The whole world is currently paying close attention to the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

With over 1 million died, COVID-19 has posed grave threat to the global health systems, rippled across the entire economy and further deteriorated the geopolitical tensions. Zhang Lirong, Secretary-General of the China Forum at Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy will look ahead the EU-China relations in a post-pandemic world, and in what ways could the two great powers work together to cushion the downturn and stimulate the economic recovery.

The global pandemic keeps us away from each other. We are not with friends or relatives even living in the same city, not to mention someone far away from another culture or another country. For the third episode, we are joined by four students who are studying either in China or the US. We are focusing on how this crisis affected the cross-cultural communication and what legacy we are to have from such a global plague.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, international students particularly experienced a lot of difficulties. For the second episode, we are focusing on a special group of students who are either from the U.S. but studying in China, and vice versa. We’ll take a closer look at the changes in their lives and academic studies, as well as how they see today’s changing world.
