【The 32nd Security and Strategy Seminar】CISS Held Seminar on Impact of Russia-Ukraine Crisis on Great Power Landscape

On March 27, the Center for International Security and Strategy (CISS) of Tsinghua University held the 32nd Security and Strategy Seminar entitled “The Impact of the Russia-Ukraine Crisis on the Great Power Landscape.”

Panelists explored the US-Russia-Europe power evolution, the changes in major power relations, and the opportunities and challenges faced by China since the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which is believed to be not only reshaping the geopolitical environment in Asia and Europe, but also triggering the engagement and competition among China, the US, Russia and Europe, creating a profound impact on how the international landscape is going to evolve.

The event, moderated by CISS Director DA Wei, featured FENG Zhongping, Director of the Institute of European Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS); XU Poling, Head of the Russian Economy Department, Institute of Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies, CASS; JIN Ling, Deputy Director of the Department for European Studies, China Institute of International Studies; ZHAO Minghao, Senior Fellow at the Institute of International Studies, Fudan University; XIAO Qian, Deputy Director of CISS; as well as CISS Research Associates SONG Bo and SUN Chenghao.
