Yongzhen Lai is from Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and currently studies in the PhD Program in Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University. He focuses on China's foreign policy towards neighboring countries and international politics. He has experienced in internships in Intellisia and other research institutions and worked on edition tasks, while meanwhile works on the social media platform 'International Political Scholars' taking charge of translation and compilation of IR international journal articles. He engages in issues of Cold War history, China's foreign policy and Taiwan Questions in the CISS Youth Community.
