Dr. WEN holds a Ph.D. degree in Middle East Studies, Peking University. She was a visiting scholar at Oxford School of Global and Area Studies, Oxford University.

Dr. WEN once worked in mainstream international news media for nearly six years. She served as editor-in-chief and host of international commentary programs, interviewing politicians and scholars at home and abroad. She had visited more than 40 countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and Lebanon for news report and fieldwork.

Dr. WEN has published many academic papers and international reviews, and has been interviewed by CCTV, China News Agency and other media for many times.
