He graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University. He had 18 years’ working experience in China’s diplomatic service, ever been posted in Chinese Embassies in Jakarta and Canberra, and worked for MFA’s Department of Asian Affairs and then Department of American and Oceanic Affairs. His research areas mainly cover the China-US relations, Korean Peninsular issues and China’s neighboring diplomacy.
