YUE Xiaoyong: Multilateralism is the Key to Resolve Global Challenges

Ambassador YUE Xiaoyong, China Forum Expert, Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy, attended the E-Policy Circle 10 themed ‘Stability Redefined’ held by Beirut Institute Summit . The webinar was chaired by Raghida Dergham, Founder and Executive Chairman of Beirut Institute. Sir John Sawers, former MI6 Chief, Brett Mcgurk, former Special Presidential Envoy for the U.S. campaign against the Islamic State and Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation, also participated in the discussion. The webinar was live-streamed on Beirut Institute and Raghida Dergham Facebook pages，and the complete version is available on Beirut Institute YouTube channel as well. Ambassador YUE stressed China is focusing on developing itself and maintaining peaceful and stable relations with all countries. China is firmly committed to upholding multilateralism, which is the key to tackle tough global challenges.
